Professional Career and Work Experience.
Nathalie Abreu Mejia started her career in a prestigious law firm, where she worked from 2006 until 2012, when she joined the firm De Camps, Vásquez & Valera. At De Camps, Vásquez & Valera she held the position of head of the Business Department and is currently Partner of the Firm and co-chair of the Business Law Practice group.
Ms. Abreu Mejia has significant experience in corporate law, foreign investment, real estate law, telecommunications law, energy law, labor law and intellectual property. She has advised clients on structuring, reviewing and negotiating contracts, such as Engineering and Project Construction (EPC), Contracts for Sale of Energy and Power (PPA), Financing Contracts, Contracts of Operation and Maintenance (O&M), Concession Contracts, Service Contracts, Trust Agreements, among others.
Ms. Abreu Mejia has also worked on development projects in the field of energy and mining, from the preparation of the project’s due diligence to obtaining all permits required for its operation. Additionally, she has worked in the design and execution of legal structures for mergers, acquisitions, and sale of high-value assets, as well as in legal advice for the development and operation of investment projects, franchises, and real estate development.
Mrs. Abreu Mejia completed her law degree from the Pontifica Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) (2008) and is in the process of completing a Master of Law Degree (LL.M) in Legal Strategy at the OMG Institute.
