Her professional practice is focused in advising clients on specialized matters in corporate law and business law, as well as on project finance in tourism and other sectors of the national economy. She has also advised clients on important transactions in the energy and mining sector.
Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Abreu Mejía worked in a prestigious law firm, assisting clients in the operations of both local and foreign commercial companies, as well as in the drafting of all types of contracts. At De Camps, Vásquez & Valera, she occupied the position of head of the Business and Corporate Law Department and is currently the partner in charge of said department.
She has actively participated in the structuring, revision, and negotiation of multiple contracts, such as Financing Agreements, Trust Agreements, Service Contracts, Engineering and Project Construction Contracts (EPC), Energy and Power Sales Contracts (PPA), Operation and Maintenance Contracts (O&M), Concession Agreements, among others.
She has worked in the development of important projects in the energy and mines sector, from the preparation of the project´s due diligence to obtaining all the necessary permits for its commissioning. She has also worked in the elaboration of legal structures for mergers, acquisitions, and sale of high- value assets, as well as legal advice for the development and operation of investment projects, franchises, and real estate development.
Law school graduate from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) (2008). She later obtained a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M) in Legal Strategy at the OMG Institute (2020).
