He serves as the head of the Real Este Law division of the Firm. His professional practice is focused on advising clients in real estate matters. He also assists clients in the development of tourism, real estate, and energy and/or mining projects, as well as in tasks of approach and conflict resolution with communities impacted by these types of projects.

Professional Career and Work Experience

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Benjamin Vasquez Bailey worked as a Legal Auditor in the General Comptroller of the National Social Security Council (CNSS). He also worked as a Legal Analyst for the Real Estate Jurisdiction in the Registration Support Unit, participating in the process of implementation of the System for Management and Automatization of Registration for the Title Registries of Samana, Higüey, Puerto Plata, and the Province of Santo Domingo.

He advises clients in the purchase, sale, and transfer of properties. He has intervened in claims for the collection of payment due to expropriations and evictions. He has also participated in the preparation of legal structures to provide guarantees for investments in the banking and tourism sectors and the development of housing projects.

Education and Awards

Law Degree from Universidad Católica de Santo Domingo (UCSD) (2006). Subsequently, he obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M) Degree in Real Estate and Registration Law from Universidad Iberoamerica (UNIBE) (2018). He has completed postgraduate studies in different areas of law, such as fiduciary law, civil law, and family law.
