Professional Career and Work Experience
Mr. Vasquez Bailey started his career as a Legal Auditor in the General Comptroller of the National Social Security Council (CNSS). In the year 2008, he entered the Judicial Branch through the Program of Consolidation of the Real Estate Jurisdiction (PCJI), where he performed as a Legal Analyst for the Real Estate Jurisdiction in the Registration Support Unit until 2012, participating in the process of implementation of the System for Management and Automatization of Registration for the Title Registries of Samana, Higüey, Puerto Plata, and the Province of Santo Domingo.
In 2012 he joined De Camps, Vásquez & Valera, where he advises tourism developers, real estate developers and energy and/or mining projects in Real Estate and Registration matters. He also executes tasks of approach and conflict resolution with impacted communities in the context of the development of these types of projects.
Benjamin Vasquez Bailey advises our clients in the purchase, sale, and transfer of properties. He has intervened in claims for collection of payment due to expropriations and evictions. He has also participated in the preparation of legal structures to provide guarantees for investments in the banking and tourism sectors and the development of housing projects.
Education and Awards
Benjamin Vasquez Bailey obtained his law degree from Universidad Catolica de Santo Domingo (UCSD) (2006) and later obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Real Estate and Registration Law from Universidad Euromericans (UNIBE) (2018).
Mr. Vasquez Bailey has completed postgraduate studies in different areas of the law, such as fiduciary law, civil law, and family law.
