Nathalie Abreu Mejia is the director of the business department of the firm. In her professional practice she advises clients in financing projects, mergers and acquisitions, obtaining permits, licenses, no objections and contract negotiations. She has also taken part in important transactions in the energy and mining sector.
Professional Career and Work Experience
Nathalie Abreu started her career in a prestigious law firm, where she gained significant experience in corporate law, foreign investment, real estate law, telecommunications law, energy law, labor law and intellectual property.
In the year 2012 she joined De Camps, Vásquez and Valera, where she currently serves as director of the business department of the firm. In the exercise of her functions she has actively participated in structuring, reviewing and negotiating contracts, such as Engineering and Project Construction (EPC) Contracts for Sale of Energy and Power (PPA), Financing Contracts, Contracts of Operation and Maintenance (O&M), Concession Contracts, Service Contracts, Trust Agreements, among others.
She has also worked on development projects in the field of energy and mining, from the preparation of the project’s due diligence to obtaining all permits required for its operation. Additionally, she has worked in the elaboration of legal structures for mergers, acquisitions and sale of high-value assets, as well as in legal advice for the development and operation of investment projects, franchises and real estate development.
She completed her law degree from the Pontifica Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (2008) and is in the process of completing a Master's Degree in Legal Strategy at the OMG Institute.
