His professional practice is focused on representing and advising clients in specialized litigations procedures in several areas of the law, such as civil, commercial, real state, constitutional, and administrative law, as well as arbitral procedures. He also assists clients examining the viability of investments within Dominican territory and drafting of contract strategy in civil, commercial, and public transactions.

Professional Career and Work Experience

Prior to joining the firm as a senior associate, he worked for the litigation department of prestigious law firms. He also gained experience in the public administration, where he worked as a legal analyst at the General Directorate for Public Contracting, and later occupied a legal advisor post at the Constitutional Court of the Dominican Republic.

Mr. Jiménez Castillo has represented many clients in real estate project development, preparing and managing legal strategies for litigation procedures pursuant to the recovery of real estate properties due to fraudulent and irregular purchases. He has participated in emblematic litigious cases for the Dominican jurisprudence involving torts and contract termination aspects. Also, he has assisted several high-profile clients in the touristic and energy fields to determine the viability of their establishment in Dominican territory, examining international trade, permits, public policy, cost effectiveness, as well as contractual issues.

Education and Awards

Law Degree from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), with academic honors - Magna Cum Laude - (2016). He later obtained a Diplôme Supérieur d'Université en Droit Civil (University Superior Diploma in Civil Law) equivalent to Master 1 with an Assez-Bien Mention -Cum Laude Honors- (2019) and a Master 2 in Droit Privé Général (General Private Law) with concentration in torts, contract law and consumer law (2020), both from the Paris II Panthéon – Assas University, based in Paris, France. He has completed various courses and diplomas in civil procedure, torts and contract strategy.
